University - Faculty of Graduate Studies Human Nutrition The School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition offers M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes in the broad fields of basic and applied human nutrition. Areas of interest include: basic research in energy; carbohydrate and lipid metabolism; clinical nutrition undertaken in the research facilities of the Crabtree Laboratories at the Royal Victoria Hospital as well as other hospitals; and community nutrition in Canada and abroad. The Centre for Nutrition and the Environment of Indigenous Peoples within the School provides an opportunity to study nutritional issues affecting indigenous populations.
